Paul Grossman

The Office of Accessible Education invite staff & faculty colleagues to participate in an on-campus professional development and educational opportunity with Paul Grossman, former Chief Regional Attorney for the US Department of Education Office for Civil Rights (OCR), San Francisco. A full presenter bio can be found below.

This event will be presented over four 75-minute sessions starting at 9am and conclude with a 45-minute Q&A session ending at 5pm. Morning coffee with pastries and afternoon refreshments will be provided; a 90-minute break for lunch will be provided - please make your own arrangements. We welcome staff and faculty to engage in the full day, or selectively attend sessions of interest. A tentative schedule is posted below; once the event schedule is finalized at the beginning of Winter Quarter, it will be emailed to all registered attendees.

The topics presented will be of interest to faculty, staff serving students, and administrators who craft and implement policies for students' disability-related accommodations. If you have ever wondered about the backstory of how disability-rights laws were developed, or how the process works in the OAE, you will find this event of interest.
